MAESTRO SMALL SECONDS, A MASTERFUL PERFORMANCE.

The Swiss watchmaker RAYMOND WEIL has always demonstrated a passion for music and virtuosity. Today, the Genevan-based Maison releases a new timepiece that unites harmony and timing. The maestro is offered in a choice of three dial variants, each enriched with several subtle details. At the heart of the watch, a Swiss self-winding movement delivers metronomic precision, ticking perfectly in time with an elegant daily life.

A symphonic performance can impart much pleasure when performed by the most proficient musicians. The maestro, a distinguished conductor, choreographs each breathe, blow, bow or strike of a drum with incredible skill, a role RAYMOND WEIL celebrates with this new model, the maestro 2238. The Maison has a deep connection with music, collaborating with numerous artists from around the globe and partnering with several musical-based Brands and renowned charities. The watchmaker has always understood the importance of timing and has repeatedly shown its appreciation for virtuosity and art performance.

Housed in a 39.5mm stainless steel case, a size that will prove suitable for most wrists, the new maestro 2238 timepieces combine various elements, delivering a horological ensemble par excellence. It is the subtle use of lines, textures and tones which distinguishes the dial of the timepiece as special. The grey dial is slightly smoky in appearance, transitioning from mid grey at the centre of the dial to deep grey near the perimeter. The central part of the dial encompasses a bewitching swirled pattern, while the hour track is adorned with a snailed motif. A minute track, located near the perimeter of the dial, is marked with crisp strokes, aiding readability. Lastly, a subtly ridged motif marks the edge of the dial, providing a seemly means of delineation. Slender silver-toned hour and minute hands are located centre stage, collaborating with matching indexes. An aperture adjacent the crown reveals the prevailing date, while a small seconds display, incorporating snailed detail, is positioned at 6 o’clock.

To the rear of the watch, a sapphire crystal affords sight of the Swiss self-winding movement, the RW4250. The watch is presented on a colour-coordinating calf leather strap, incorporating an alligator motif, paired with a stainless-steel folding clasp with double push-security system.

The maestro 2238 is available with two additional dial choices, green or blue, both also endowed with a subtle smoky appearance.
